Akasha (Space) Experience
Peace & Tranquility
Chakra: Visshudha Color: Blue
Learn and experience the process of letting go, releasing your voice, while allowing the universe to be as it is.
The Akasha Experience incorporates breathwork (pranayama) with asanas and massage concentrated on opening the chest, shoulders and neck. Learn breathing techniques to immediately reduce tension (faster than a paracetamol) along with physical practices to expand the power and volume of breath, leaving you relaxed, empowered, and at ease. It is an ideal Experience for those who may be having a difficult time adjusting to a potential new reality or otherwise seem to have momentarily fallen into inertia.
Day 1: We have a consultation over a light breakfast by the sea to discuss your priorities and confirm that the Experience fits your needs and make any modifications as possible. A mid-morning introductory breathwork (pranayama) session begins the process of synchronizing your breath with the movements of your body, followed by a deeply relaxing Thai Yoga massage to clear blockages in the Neck, Back, Chest and Shoulders. You will feel an immediate difference as we overlay breathwork within the massage. Spend the day playing in the sun and sea and then join me before sunset for a beachside yoga session - the Tri-Dosha Balancing Series, a traditional series of asanas verified for their therapeutic benefits that, among many aspects, will cultivate a relaxation response to stress. We end this day with an informal discussion about your experiences and answer any questions you may have, before you fall into deep sleep listening to the soft sound of the waves.
Day 2: Imagine waking up (on your own time - it is a holiday, after all) and the first item on your to-do list is to get a massage by the ocean. On this day, it will become more readily apparent how the elements of massage, breathwork and yoga combine together to reinforce and deepen your experience. Now that your breath and body are synchronized, your post-massage Pranayama session will enable you to lead with relaxed and powerful breath that your body will follow. Enjoy your free time in quiet, remote Galgibag Beach alone or with friends, completely undisturbed before joining me for another afternoon Tri-Dosha yoga session. With its meditative flow, you will have the experience of true time with yourself. We close this day discussing integration, any issues or difficulties that you may have, and discuss practices that best suit your onward Journey.
Ap (Water) Experience
Balance & Fluidity

Experience your own place within the relative motion of existence.
There's no better way to spend the day than surfing and yoga on the most beautiful beaches of South Goa! The Ap Experience focuses on balance, fluidity, and centered-ness, enabling you to stand strong even as the ground and waves move beneath you. Your beach-side yoga sessions will focus on alignment, balance, and hip-opening to relax and deepen your true center - getting you in optimal form to ride the waves. The Ap Experience is rewarding for both complete beginners with our on-site training sessions, as well as long term adepts.
Day 1: We will begin the day with a light consultation to confirm and prioritize your experience and expectations, followed by an on-shore surf training to determine if you are "regular," "goofy," and other basics. Our beach-side yoga sessions will feature the Standing Series with its focus on balance and alignment, followed by the deep hip openers in the Folding Series. With Mother Nature as our guide, we will remain flexible and open to optimal waves as and when they come - breaking for our boards and off to the ocean to explore our strength and balance as we navigate the seas. As such, yoga and surfing sessions will alternate according to the waves with 1.5-2+ hour sessions in the morning and afternoon, ending the day with an informal discussion about your experiences and answering any questions you may have before drifting off to sleep.
Day 2: Wake up early for some fun in the sand as we play a few games and practice the art of inversions, such as the headstand! We'll learn to balance effort with nature as we build up key muscle strength and begin to see the world differently. With our boards ever at the ready, we'll be out on the waves or into our yoga for another morning and afternoon session. We'll end the day with a discussion on the physical and intermal aspects of the Ap Experience, and what practices might best suit you as you gain your sense of place in an ever-changing and fluid world.
Prthvi (Earth) Experience
Rooting & Connectedness

Get in touch with yourself, realize your value, and understand the unique expression that is yours to share.
The Earth (Prthvi) Experience incorporates bandhas (body/energy locks) with yoga and deep-tissue massage, essential to familiarizing yourself with, and releasing the energies that lie within your core. Bandhas are widely both poorly understood and practiced, but are accessible through exercises traditionally handed down from teacher to student over the course of ages. These subtle practices will expand your comfort at your roots (the Muludhara Chakra) and reduce anxieties, allowing you to more comfortably be and express your true self. As this Experience can be deeply personal, it is important to emphasize that it is entirely yours and can be tuned to your comfort level. It is an ideal experience for those who feel a bit untethered or have difficulty with affection for yourself and/or intimacy with others.
Day 1: You describe yourself at your most comfortable and we recreate that experience to discuss your priorities and confirm that the selected Experience fits your needs and make any modifications as possible. We’ll then have an introductory bandha session with emphasis on the Muludhara and Vishuddha (throat) Chakras, followed by a deep tissue Thai Yoga massage focusing on the back, abdomen, hip, gluteus and thighs. With a new sense of freedom and balance within your core, enjoy your free time hiking, kayaking, or otherwise playing before joining me for afternoon yoga that can take place on an isolated beach (boat trip!) or in the jungles of the Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary. Your afternoon yoga session will include the rooting and balancing work that is integral to the Standing Form Series followed by the therapeutic Tri-Dosha Balancing Form. Perhaps we will end the evening around a campfire with an informal discussion about your experiences, answer any questions you may have, and recalibrate tomorrow’s experience.
Day 2: Wake up on your own time (it is a holiday!) with a Thai Yoga massage to start the day just right. The massage will continue the work of opening and releasing the tension and blockages residing in your core which will enhance the mid-morning bandha session. Your day is free to spend as you like, perhaps you’d like to experiment with your sense of balance with a paddleboard lesson, and then join me in the afternoon for sunset yoga. We will begin with the Seated Folding series which will engage your core and root you with the Earth while opening your hips and pelvic floor, or the Standing Series with its focus on alignment and balance, before transitioning into the meditative and reflective Tri-Dosha Form. In the evening we will discuss intimacy, self-worth and the value of our unique expression as well as discuss practices to help you to continue on your own Path.
Day 3 (Optional): If opting for the Seated Folding Series, a next-day massage with a focus on the body’s core is highly recommended. The Seated Series directly opens and strengthens the core, which can result in some muscle fatigue. A Thai yoga massage is advised or we can recommend other techniques and practitioners in South Goa.
Vata (Air) Experience

Be informed, lose fear, be yourself and move forward.
The Vata (Air) Experience is designed to give you information, the basis for rooting out fear, providing you a sense of direction. Releasing yourself from the bondage of fear and ignorance makes stagnation impossible. This Experience combines information sessions and exploration to satisfy the mind and intellect, while deeply entrenched in the experiences of yoga and massage. We will review and discuss the thoughts and approaches behind traditional life sciences, explore a range of practices that catch your interest, and discuss how you can independently continue your quest for knowledge at the expense of fear and ignorance. This is an ideal experience for those working on the power of trust, who would like to cultivate their own Path, or otherwise simply want to dip their toes in the water.
Day 1: Over a light breakfast, we’ll have an equally light discussion of the themes and topics you want to explore. It is important that you have your own unique experiences, unadulterated by the information and experience of others – we will have time to discuss everything we do after you have the experience for yourself. As a warm-up for morning yoga, we will do some light alignment and meridian work to facilitate energy flow with a Siddha Walking Massage. The morning Tri-Dosha Balancing Form is a thorough and meditative form of yoga and can be adapted to a range of therapeutic needs you would like to address. Enjoy your free time and/or explore other yogic approaches available in South Goa before ending the day with a Thai Yoga massage, also adapted to your therapeutic needs, perhaps including Tok Sen - an acupressure technique that incorporates vibration to facilitate energy flow. Before heading off to a restful sleep, we will engage the mind and intellect again to review your experiences and possibly include a thematic discussion on the Doshas (or other aspects of Ayurveda), Purusartha (the four pillars of human life according to Hindu philosophy), or maybe even the Tattvas (Principles of Reality) according to the science of Tantra.
Day 2: Wake up and re-experience a Thai Yoga massage catered to your therapeutic needs, followed by an exploratory informational session on bandhas and pranayama that will demystify these ancient practices. Enjoy your free time, perhaps we meet to discuss any range of topics over lunch or jointly come up with a reading list to explore your interests. While it is truly imperative that your experience is yours alone, you will begin to see how yesterday's practices directly inform your experience in today's asanas. How this occurs is within you, which we can discuss over a Goan sunset consultation. Perhaps we discuss vulnerability and shame, or fear and ignorance, but regardless you sleep at night at ease, then continue your Own Journey with the information and resources to define your Own Path.
